Danny Michael Burkett

Danny Michael Burkett, 67, of Leesville, our special brother went to heaven on August 15, 2017. Graveside services will be officiated by the Reverend Roger Phillips held at Ridge Crest Memorial Park on August 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM prior to the service at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.

He was the son of the late Jacob Frank Burkett and Iva Iclean Alewine Burkett. He was born on July 23, 1950 and a brother to Becky (Wyman) Covington, Larry (Lyn) Burkett. His nieces Jenifer (Chris) Gilliland and Kim (Mike) Burns. Along with their children Gracie and Erin Gilliland; Bryson & Logan Burns. Danny loved people and never met a stranger. He also leaves other caring and loving friends Phillip & Patricia Rodgers, Lona Swygert, Bill & Angelia Hawes, Juliet Adam.

The family would like to thank Dr. Bill Sawyer, Jr. and the staff of Saluda Nursing Center for the special care and love shown to Danny.
