Henry Alfred "H.A." Canada

Henry Alfred “H.A.” Canada, 56, of Pelion, husband of Vickie Canada, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at home. H.A. was the son of the late Harry and Ola Fallaw Canada also of Pelion. H.A. was a veteran of the US Navy in Norfolk, Virginia aboard the USS LY Spear.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie; children, Misty (Wayne) Barr, Daniel (Somer) Norris, Henry Canada, Jr. of Tennessee, Lou Ann (Mike) Holt also of Tennessee, Carol (Doug) Layton, Beverly Jackson; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters, Harriete (Shannon) Merrill, Teresa (Ralph) Wilmoth of West Virginia; brothers, John (Sharon) Canada, Don (Pam) Canada; and many, many nephews and nieces.

Services will be held at King Grove Baptist Church, 1580 Hwy 178 in Swansea, SC, on Friday,
May 19, at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Ellis “Cook” Addy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
