Madgelee Ward Hallman

Madgelee Ward Hallman, 81, of Batesburg, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 28, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ridge Spring Cemetery with Rev. Henry Stamper and Rev. John Steele officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be Jim Wertman, WC Miller, Jr, Simon Buzhardt, Russell Purdue, David Parker, Carlton Clarke, Bobby Chesser and Jim Doebler. Honorary pallbearers will be her caregivers, Martha Gonzalez, Barbara Shealy, Jeanette Byrd and Barbara Jones.

Mrs. Hallman was born in Batesburg, SC, daughter of the late Harmon Edward Ward and Essie Lee Miller. She was married to the late John William Hallman, Jr. Mrs. Hallman was a member of First Baptist Church of Batesburg.

Surviving is her sister, Helen Hallman; sister-in-law, Millie Perdue; and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hallman was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy Thurman Ward; Harold Lloyd Senterfeit; Curtis Miller; and sister, Miriam Ward Quattlebaum.
