Margaret Frances Kirton

Margaret Frances Kirton, 87, of Okatie, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 18, at Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Gary Adkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 17, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kirton was born in Greenville, SC, daughter of the late Colel and Elsie Glen Fowler. She was married to the late T.J. Kirton. She loved worshiping God with her church families at Samaria Baptist Church and Okatee Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Patty (Steve) Sheffield of Okatie, SC; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil (Blanche) Fowler; grandchildren, Emily Taylor (Ryan) Kirton-Davis, Madeline Kirton; and special friends, Linda Barnes and Kimberly Kirton. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Kirton and brother and sister-in-law, Claude (Louise) Fowler.
