Paulette Corley Hendrix

Paulette Corley Hendrix, affectionately known as “Bot,” 60, a lifelong resident of Saluda County, SC, passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of Thursday, April 19, 2018. She is the daughter of Mary Branham Corley and the late Felix Paul Corley.

Paulette is survived by her son Chad Hendrix (Lucy) of Saluda County and their two children, Noah and Maddie. She is also survived by another grandchild, Hunter Hurst (Father Mitch Hurst), of Mt. Holley, NC. Paulette was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacy Hendrix Hurst in 2015. Paulette is also survived by two sisters and a brother, Gwendolyn C. Shealy (Bob), Christy C. Nichols, and Robert P. Corley (Judy), all of Saluda.

She dearly loved her numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins here and her Branham family of Kershaw County. A graduate of Wyman W. King Academy, Paulette was also a member of Sardis Baptist Church.

The Hendrix family especially thanks all the caregivers who were involved in Paulette’s care. Their loving compassion did much to comfort her and the family.

A private burial with immediate family in attendance will be held with a public memorial service to be conducted at 10 am, Saturday, April 21 at Sardis Baptist Church, 204 Sardis Rd., Saluda, SC 29138, with visitation following. The family will also receive visitors at the home, 2115 Columbia Hwy., Saluda.
