Ralph Arthur Carey

Ralph Arthur Carey, 66, of Leesville, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 10, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Morris officiating. Visitation will be held after the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Carey was born in Santa Rita, New Mexico son of Velma Clark Carey and the late Arthur Fulton Carey. Mr. Carey was a US Army Veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth Smith Carey; mother, Velma Carey; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine E. (Robert) Hinman and family; granddaughter, Heather N. Smith; nephew, Jasen Hastey; and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Carey; sister, Vickie Hastey; and step-son, Steven Cole.
