Articel Taylor Shealy

Articel Taylor Shealy,88, of Leesville, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 3, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tony Rowell officiating. A private burial will follow. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be Sundance Whitfield, Travis Goff, Kevin Painter, Neil Shealy, Jay Duke, Michael Boozer, and Jamie Smith.

Mrs. Shealy was born in Leesville, SC, daughter of the late Crawford and Eva Anderson Taylor.

Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Johnny Offeral Shealy; children, Rose Marie S. (Drake) Riley of Irmo, Ferris S. (Robert) Grant of Leesville, Wanda S. (Ralph) Shealy, Melinda S. (David) Rhoad of Leesville; brothers, Norris E. “Pete” Taylor of Pineland, Harold L. “Buster” Taylor of Lexington; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters, Rose Bell T. Long and Sarah Lou Taylor Risinger; brother, David R. “Jack” Taylor; and a grandson, Justin Riley.
