Billy Gary Fox

Billy Gary Fox, 82, of Batesburg-Leesville, SC died September 16, 2015. He was born November 20, 1932. He was the son of the late Seymour Earl Fox & Julia Mae Miller Fox. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Martha Lanelle Hall Fox, as well as his brothers Earl, Harold, & Tom Fox. He is survived by his sister, Daphne Ivey; his son, Michael Allen Fox & his wife Claudette (Gus) Fox; his daughter, Julie Fox Williams & her husband, Wayne Williams; his grandchildren, Jessica Hinson; Sandy Dill; and O'neale Atkinson ; and great grandchildren. He served in the US Air Force from 1951 - 1955, earning the Korean Service, United Nations, National Defense Service, & the Army of Occupation (Japan) medals. He was Manager of Kimbrell's for over 30 years, working in Columbia, Charlotte, & Chester. He was an active member of Parkway Baptist Church in Chester. Receiving of friends will begin at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 19, at Steadman Baptist Church, 1011 N Edisto Road, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29070. Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon, at the church with interment to follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Ray Truett officiating.
