Brenton Henry Hall

January 4, 1927 — December 17, 2016

Brenton Henry Hall, 89, of Leesville, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 20, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Enon Lutheran Church Cemetery with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Active pallbearers will be Andy Taylor, Ken Beasley, Kenneth Hall, Jeff Rodgers, Craig Hall, Scott Priester and Dwight Leaphart.

Mr. Hall was born in Leesville, SC son of the late Brice Hall and Myrtie Oswalt Smith. He had worked for J.B. Martin. He was a member of Enon Lutheran Church. He was married to the late Mattie Ruth Hall. He enjoyed watching western movies, wrestling and sitting in their swing.

Surviving are his sons and daughter-in-law, Carroll (Mildred) Hall; Carl Hall; Bruce Hall (Penny) all of Leesville; daughter, Annette Hall (Teddy Kneece); brothers, Ralph Hall and Clifton Hall; sisters, Irene Smith and Erlene Swygert; half-brother, George Smith; half-sister, Mary Jane Palmer; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great grands. He was predeceased by a daughter, Ruth Fleming; brothers, Truett Hall and J.B. Hall; sister, Cara Lou Spurlock; half-brother, Gene Smith.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, December 19, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.
