Dwight "Snag" Maroney, 64, of Batesburg, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 2, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with Russell Whittle officiating. Visitation will be held after the service at the funeral home. Mr. Maroney was born in Batesburg, SC, son of the late Woodrow and Ruby Reynolds Maroney. He was a member of the U.S. National Guard. Surviving are his wife, Joanne Kohler Maroney; sons, Grayson Maroney; Matthew Kohler; Johnathan Kohler; daughters, Dawn Rogers; Tammy Jackson; brother, J.W. Maroney; sister, Gayle Maroney Fulmer; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
