E. Glenn Metts

E. Glenn Metts, 87, of Batesburg, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Bethel Baptist Church in Monetta with interment in Ridge Crest Memorial Park with his son Reverend Dennis Metts and Reverend Joshua Davison officiating. Mr. Metts was born in Leesville, SC son of the late Joe Metts Sr. and Lila Mae Swygert Metts. He was retired Air Force Veteran. He was married to the late Margaret Metts. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Dennis Metts (Linda) of Batesburg; brothers, Philip Metts and Joe Metts Jr. both of Leesville; sisters, Doris Taylor of Atlanta, GA; Connie Shealy of Leesville; grandson, Ben Metts; granddaughter, Susan Metts; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, David Metts.
