Edna Mckee Corley

Edna McKee Corley, 89, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 29, at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Steven Jackson and Rev. Wayne Parker. The family will receive visitors at the Fellowship Hall in the church immediately following the service.

Mrs. Corley was born in Detroit, MI daughter of the late James McKee and Suzanne Harper McKee. She was a seamstress and worked in the textiles industry. The family would like to express thanks to the staff at JF Hawkins Nursing Home and Hospice Care of Tri-County as well as her many friends and family.

Surviving are her husband, Ronald Corley; son and daughter-in-law, Drake Riley (Rose Marie); daughter and son-in-law, Janet Riley Laing (Mark); step-children, Peggy Butler (Wayne); Kathy Holley (Ronnie); eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Darwin Riley; brothers, James and Edmond McKee; sister, Shirley Gibbs; and a grandson, Justin Riley.
