Ernest Waters

Ernest Waters, 94, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, August 7, at First Church of The Nazarene, 350 Wattling Road, West Columbia with burial in Celestial Memorial Gardens conducted by Reverend Bill Harmon. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Active pallbearers are Shawn Hoffman, Freddy Worrock, Mike Metz, Jimmy Magni, Joe Magni and Lee Eunice.

Ernest was born in Batesburg, SC son of the late Furman Waters and Trannie Clamp Waters. He worked as a welder and pipe fitter. He was a member of UA Plumber and Pipe Fitters local # 421. He was married to the late Norvis Waters.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and three great-great grands. He is predeceased by his parents; wife; sons; a daughter; brothers and sisters and a granddaughter.
