George Ray Corley

George Ray Corley, 79 of Monetta, passed away September 13, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday September 16, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Russell Whittle. Mr. Corley was born in Batesburg, SC he was the son of the late George Washington Corley and Leona Maroney Corley. He was an Air Force Veteran. He was raised by his grandmother, Martha Maroney. He had worked for Ridge L.P. Gas Company. Surviving are his wife, Jeanette Moorehead Corley; daughter, Wendy Corley; brother and sister-in-law, Zane Corley (Mary Linda Corley); sisters and brothers-in-law, Lona Whittle (Guy Whittle); June Whittle (Billy Whittle); three grandchildren; three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Cindy Rae Corley Smith and two brothers, Tony and Lynn Corley.
