Javas Douglas Padgett

Javas Douglas Padgett, 84, of Leesville, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 6th, at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Bud Moss officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Padgett was born in Lexington, SC, the son of the late Earl Vance and Clara Frances Rish Padgett. He was married to the late Bobbie Jean Miller Padgett. Mr. Padgett was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving are his children, Doug Padgett (Mary) and Greg Padgett (Kendrean) both of Leesville; and grandchildren, Christopher Jackson, Meg Padgett (Austin Lown); and Logan Padgett. Also surviving are his sister, Linda Harmon (Carlisle) of Leesville. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Ann P. Jackson.
