John Randall

John D. Randall Jr., 68, of Ridge Spring, SC passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 12th at Double Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church in Ridge Spring with Rev. Jacob Workman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

John was born November 9, 1952, in Batesburg, a son of the late John D. Randall, Sr. and the late Sallie Randall Wright. John "Big John" was the surviving owner of a family trucking business started by his father in 1961. He was a member of Double Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church of Ridge Spring.

He is survived by his soul mate, Diana Hackett; three sisters, Peggy Vaughn of Johnston, Gail Parker (Ron) of Spartanburg, and Debra Black of Columbia; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Randall of Ridge Spring. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews; and his life-long buddy, Paul (Rachel) Peacock. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his beloved brother, Doug Randall.

John made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was loved by all who knew him and so many have enjoyed his music and share the memories of his band and family dances he loved to host for many years.
