Johnnie William Boatwright, 84, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 18, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Dan Williams. Visitation will follow after the service at the funeral home. Mr. Boatwright was born in Batesburg, SC son of the late George Harvey and Minnie Crapps Boatwright. He was a truck driver. He was a member of Mt. Ebal Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a Navy Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Louise Fox Boatwright; children: Sondra Boatwright, Evelyn Merron, David Boatwright (Susan), Brady Boatwright, (Gayle), Jason Boatwright; grandchildren: Allison, Jonathan, Travis, Katherine, Jake, Aiden, Christopher, Nathan and Luke; step-children: Eddie Hulon, Kay Woods (Robert), Michael Hulon; step-grandchildren: Hunter, Jayden and Laura; sister, Lucille Ridgell; seven great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
