Kay Hyler Green

Kay Hyler Green, 75, of West Columbia, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Memorial service will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 28, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Stephen Jumper. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Green was born in Saluda, SC daughter of the late Otis Bankston Hyler and Gladys Banks Hyler. She had worked for Burlington Coat Factory in retail sales.

Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Angela J. Cockrell and husband, Russel of Saluda; Saundra Jennings Sloan and husband, (Lowell) of Irmo; Suzanne J. White (Mark) of Chapin; brothers, Bankston Otis Hyler and wife, Sue; Randy Hyler and wife, Joy; sister, Sarah Jones; and grandchildren, Allen (Beth) Cockrell; Richard Cockrell; Madyson White; Brynson White; Sabella Sloan; and two great grandchildren, Abagail and Jacob Cockrell. Mrs. Green was predeceased by her sister, Betty Hyler.
