Leila Mae Senn Motes

Leila Mae Senn Motes, 88, of Leesville, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 3, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ridge Crest Memorial Park with Rev. Nels Ledwell officiating. Active pallbearers will be Phillip Motes, Connor Motes, Mike Kelly, Brandon Wooten, Daniel Senn and Jimmy Smith. Honorary pallbearer will be her deceased son, Tommy Motes.

Mrs. Motes was born in Leesville, SC, daughter of the late Daniel Napoleon and Martha Leila Hite Senn. She was married to the late Billy D. Motes. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughter-and son-in-law, Melanie (Mike) Kelly; daughter-in-law, Monica Motes; sister, Enoree S. Thomas; grandchildren, Meagan Kelly (Brandon) Wooten; Connor, Phillip, and Hannah Motes; and great granddaughter, Rylee Mae Wooten all of Leesville. She was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Doyle Motes; brother, A.D. Senn; and grandson, Garrett Motes.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday, June 2, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, other times at the home of her daughter-in-law, Monica. Memorials may be made to the South Carolina Oncology Association.
