Lewie Hallman

April 27, 1922 — March 25, 2016

Lewie Hallman, 93, of Leesville, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 28, at Steadman Baptist Church with interment in Ridge Crest Memorial Park with Rev. Ray Truett officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Boatwright, Frank Smith, Ben Haugen, Chad Bush, Michael Hallman, Jason Welch and Wyatt Boatwright.

Mr. Hallman was born in Leesville, SC, son of the late Louis and Ruth Kyzer Hallman. He was married to the late Lucille Rankin Hallman. He was an US Airforce veteran and served in WWII. Mr. Hallman was a member of Steadman Baptist Church and the Disabled Veterans Association.

Surviving are his daughters and son-in-law, Renee H. Welch; Reva H. (Pete) Bush; sisters, Margaret Senterfeit; Francis Willis; brother, M.J. Hallman; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jack Welch.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Steadman Baptist Church.
