Lewis Stringfield
June 5, 1927 — May 14, 2014
Graveside services for Lewis Collins Stringfield, 86, of Aiken, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 at Mr. Beaulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Fred Andrea. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME.
Born in Barnwell Co., he was a son of the late Charles and Gladys Mitchell Stringfield. Mr. Stringfield was a US Air Force Veteran, a member of Aiken's First Baptist Church and was a retired Engineer Assistant with Aiken County Co-Op, with over 33 years of service.
Survivors include his brothers, Cleve Stingfield (Patsy) of Aiken and Ted Stringfield (Margaret) of Graniteville; a sister-in-law, Virginia Stringfield of Windsor.
