Mary "Maw" Caroline Lewis

Mary Caroline Lewis,78, of Batesburg, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 9, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ridge Crest Memorial Park with Rev. John Los officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 4:30 P.M. before the service at the funeral home, other times at the home of her son, Bobby, 404 Water Tower Road, Saluda, SC. Active pallbearers will be Michael Summer, Ashley Tompkins, Jeffrey Brewer, Arthur Chaz Lewis, and Patrick Hallman. Mary H. Lewis was born on March 10, 1936 to the late Simon Woodrow and Lucy Lee Stone Hartfield Skinner Poston in Florence County. She was a home maker. Surviving are her husband, Arthur J. Lewis; children, Robin Ziolkowski; Bobby (Andrea) Brewer; Tammy Hartley (Ashley Tompkins) ; Hoss (Melissa) Brewer; Arthur J. Lewis II; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Vonnie Lee Turner; Lotty Poston; Georgia Lee Dorrell; and brothers, Bobby Skinner; and Leon Poston. She was preceded in death by sisters, Lula Zuila Powell; Kelly Lou Gunter; brother, Billy Skinner; and a grandchild. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mrs. Mary's funeral costs at the Batesburg Wells Fargo Bank where an account has been set up.
