Melton Dwain Dixon Jr.

Melton Dwain Dixon, Jr, 58, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 24 at 2:00 PM at Pine Grove Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery with Rev. Bud Moss officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Active pallbearers will be Christopher Collins, Jr, Christopher Collins, Sr, Zachery Collins, Matthew Sharpe, Brian Moseley and Jerratt Burkett.

Mr. Dixon was born in Omaha, Nebraska, son of Irene Peterson and the late Melton Dixon, Sr. He was a truck driver.

Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Christopher Collins, Jr; grandsons, Stephen Dixon and Colton Collins; and stepfather, Don Steele. He was preceded in death by his sons, Jason and Daniel Dixon.
