Pauline Christakos

Services for Pauline Christakos, 97 of Batesburg, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with Father Michael Platanis officiating. Burial will follow in Batesburg Cemetery.

Miss Christakos died on Thursday, January 28, 2022. A native of Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late Chris and Elaine Christakos. Pauline was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Columbia and retired as office manager from SCE&G after 33 years of service.

Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Nikki Hathaway (David), Eleni Christakos, Andrew Christakos (Cheryl), Chris Christakos (Paula) and Lia Christakos. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Agnes Christakos and Tula Anderson; brothers, Arthur Christakos and Nick Christakos.

Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral Chapel Fund or the Hellenic Community Fund, 1931 Sumter Street, Columbia, SC 29201.

Pauline will be missed by many. May her memory be eternal.
