Robert Carroll Steele

Robert Carroll Steele,78, of Gilbert, SC died on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. He was born in Lexington County and was a son of the late James and Rose Jumper Steele. Mr. Steele was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children, Randy Steele, Ricky Steele (Chasity) and Karen Brown; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Smith (Richard) and brother, Wyman Steele. Mr. Steele is also survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife of 54 years, Clara Lou Gulledge Steele, he was proceeded in death by brothers, Charles Ray and James Allen Steele.

A graveside service will be held at 4 o’clock, Friday, September 11th, at First Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, 2320 Cedar Grove Road, Leesville, South Carolina. The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside.
