Ronald Dean Kelly
July 24, 1948 — January 5, 2021
Ronald Dean Kelly, 72, of Leesville, passed away Tuesday, January 5th, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, January 9th at Southland Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ross Smith officiating.
Mr. Kelly was born in Montgomery, Alabama, a son of the late Porter Lamar Kelly and Mary Stephens Ayers. He was married to the late Nancy Asbill Kelly. Mr. Kelly was a proud United States Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion as well as a Patriot Guard Rider.
Surviving are his children, Andrea Kelly Lee (Kris), Jennifer Kelly Smith (Ross), David Kelly (Jessica); grandchildren, Matthew, Rebecca, Nathan, Ross III, Libby, Nicole, Ashley; and two great grandchildren, Jayce and Javi. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne, Ralph “Sonny”, Larry and Donnie Kelly.
The family will receive from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday, January 8th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.
