Thomas Earl Kneece

Thomas Earl Kneece, 73, of Monetta, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018. A celebration of life drop-in will be held from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Saturday, December 29, at the Batesburg Train Depot.

Mr. Kneece was born in Camp Lejeune, NC, son of the late Earl and Josie Mae (Lybrand) Kneece. He graduated from Ridge Spring Monetta High School in 1963. Mr. Kneece graduated from Wofford College with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology which sparked his passion for people. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran. After returning home from Vietnam, Mr. Kneece pursued a career in Education Administration and became the Principal at the Reception Evaluation Center in Columbia. He later worked in Insurance and Retirement Planning until his retirement. He loved to travel the state and learn about the history of South Carolina. Mr. Kneece enjoyed spending time with his dogs.

Surviving are his son, Jason Kneece of Columbia; daughter, Angela Kneece of Monetta; sister, Rachel Ann Kneece of North Augusta; also his ex-wife and best friend, Janet Ann (Newbanks) Kneece of Columbia.
