Wendell Smith

Wendell Smith, 58, of Leesville, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 27, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ebenezer Southern Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor John Hood officiating. Active pallbearers will be Austin Padgett, Mark Cain, Mark Blume, Scott Priester, Matthew Cain and Graysan Wertz.

Mr. Smith was born in Aiken, SC, son of Charlie Dewey and Lois McCarty Smith. He was employed by Walmart in Newberry.

Surviving are his wife, Noritta Smith; son, Christopher Shaun Smith; mother and father, Charlie Dewey and Lois Smith; siblings, Janice (Rudy) Endreny; Ricky (Nancy) Smith; Brenda Kay (Mike) Corder; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Lathan (Deborah) Padgett; Randy (Angie) Padgett; Myrna (Chris) Jones; Mabry Padgett; and Jenny (Keith) Wertz.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Saturday, November 26, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.
