William Edward "Bill" Sanders

William Edward "Bill" Sanders, 85, of Batesburg, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 10, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marvin C. Clark officiating. Visitation will be held following the service at the funeral home. Mr. Sanders was born in Jewer, Kansas, son of the late H.A. and Pearl Sanders. He was married to the late Carolyn Sanders. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was an U.S. Army Veteran and a retired book keeper. Bill enjoyed golfing and was a former member of the Ponderosa Country Club. Surviving are his sons, Steven E. Sanders; Bradford Scott Sanders; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Wildenal Sanders and Don L. Sanders. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 113 N. Oak Street, Batesburg, SC 29006.
