Willow Mae Wise

Willow Mae Gunter Wise, 79, of Ridge Spring died Saturday, April 3, 2021. Mrs. Wise was born in Richland County and was a daughter of the late Crosson and Ina Thornton Gunter. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and retired from ASCO with 25 years of service. Mrs. Wise loved to do hair and was a beautician for more than 40 years. She loved the mountains and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, George Wise; a son, Timmy Wise (Debbie); grandchildren, Victoria Wise (Steven Lynn), Renee Preston (Landon); great grandchildren, Bailey and Peyton. Mrs. Wise is also survive by her sisters, Betty Gunter, Brenda Wise, Geneva Wood and Gail Storey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vivian and brothers, Arthur, Carlton and Jr.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 7th from 5 until 7 pm at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.
