Mrs. Amalia Negrete Tijero, 66, of Aiken, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2014.
Born in Chavinda, Michoacan, Mexico, she was a daughter of Jose Tijero and the late Amalia Moreno.
She was employed with Shaw Industries.
Survivors include her husband, Alberto Negrete; sons, Alberto Negrete and Elias Negrete all of Aiken; a daughter, Maria Galegos of Aiken and 3 grandchildren.
A Requiem Mass will be held at 8 pm, Saturday, January 17, 2014. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
