Amber Lea Derrick

Amber Lea Derrick, 32, of Leesville, passed away Friday, October 23rd, 2020. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 28th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with Beverly Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Ms. Derrick was born in West Columbia, a daughter of Thomas Edwin Pownall IV and Tonya Gayle Hogan Pownall. In her spare time, she loved to draw and was a true artist. She also enjoyed cooking for her family. Amber loved her children and family with all of her heart.

Surviving are her four adored sons, Matthew Jay, Christopher Derrick, Malachi Burkett, Josiah Hogan; father and step-mother, Tommy (Jazmin) Pownall; mother and boyfriend, Tonya Pownall (Cass Pederson); siblings, LT (Erica) Pownall, Brittany Pownall, Brandon Pownall (Maria Lobato), Austin Pownall, Gia Pownall, Abel Pownall; and many extended family members.
