Ambrosio Gonzalez

A Requiem Mass for Ambrosio Gonzalez, will be celebrated at 6:30 pm Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at the old St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church. The family will receive friends and family from 6-9 pm Monday, at GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, 211, Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC 29801.

Mr. Gonzalez, 65, of Aiken, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016. Born in Tepechitlan, Zacatecas, Mexico, he was a son of the late Marcelino and Juanita Moraza Gonzalez. Mr. Gonzalez was a communicant of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Barnwell. In his spare time he enjoyed doing things outside and being creative with his hands. He was preceded in death by a son, Francisco Gonzalez and a brother, Juan Gonzalez.

Survivors include his loving wife, Maria Gonzalez of Aiken; daughters, Maria Gonzalez (Antonio) and Joanna Nunez (Manuel) all of Aiken; sons, Jose Gonzalez (Marisol) of Los Angeles and Refugio Gonzalez of Aiken; a sister, Graciela Rodriguez of California; brothers, Mario Moraza and Rafael Moraza both of California and Leovardo Moraza of Minnesotta; grandchildren, Deanna, Alexis, Louis, Elizabeth, Mark, Samantha, Alekzander Gonzalez, Albert, Nicholas, Anabell Nunez, Jonathan Castillo, Genisis, Victoria, Joseph, Arianna and Kassandra Gonzalez; a great-grandchild, Vincente Gonzalez.
