Angela Joan Bryant

Angela Joan Bryant, 45, of Columbia, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2026. Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of Sharon Ann Bryant and Michael Haynes. Angela was employed with Groomingdogs of Columbia, where she found great joy in her work and touched the lives of so many people along the way. She truly loved her job and cherished the friendships and special relationships she formed throughout the years. Affectionately known as “Auntie” to many, Angela shared a special bond with those she lovingly considered family. She will be remembered for her caring heart and the love she shared with those around her.

Surviving are her mother, Sharon Ann Bryant; father and step-mother, Michael Haynes (Donna); brothers, Michael Bryant, Ryan Haynes, and Michael Haynes; sister, Taylor Avery (Sam); longtime life partner, Kim Hickson; niece, Trinity Bryant; godson, Manny Addy; along with many other beloved family members and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Angela's life will be held at 3:00 o'clock on Wednesday, November 11th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, Batesburg-Leesville Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 2:00 o'clock. Milton Shealy Funeral Home, Batesburg-Leesville Chapel, is assisting the family.
