Anne Sanders

Anne Brandt Sanders, a beloved resident of Leesville, SC, passed away peacefully at the age of 68, on Monday, May 19, 2025. Born on April 14, 1957, in Haines City, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Joe Fred and Dora Wanda Walter Brandt. Anne was a vibrant soul, cherished by her family, friends, and community. A devoted member of First Baptist Church of Batesburg, Anne's faith and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. She dedicated her career to serving as an Office Manager, where her professionalism and warmth left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike.

Anne is survived by her sons, Cody Brandt Sanders and Eric Jonathan Sanders, who were the pride and joy of her life. She also leaves behind her adored sister, Karen Laura Brandt, and brothers-in-law, John Henry Sanders and Henry Vogel; and aunt, Martha Brandt. Her legacy of love continues through her nephews, Barry Sanders and Steve Sanders, and niece, Amy Sanders Valido. In addition, Anne is survived by her stepmother, Hazel Burdette Brandt, and her extended family of step-siblings: Marcus Burdette (Susan), Ramona Ashley (Mark), Barry Burdette (Beth), Marilyn Parnell (Rick), and Janice Ruinard (Ken), who all shared cherished memories with her. Anne was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her husband, Calvin Sanders, and her sister, Audry Jenene Vogel, who have undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms into eternal peace.

A memorial service to honor Anne's life will be held at 1 o'clock on Friday, May 23rd at First Baptist Church of Batesburg with Reverend Neal Smith officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall. Milton Shealy Funeral Home is assisting the family.
