Arthur Edwin Freyer Jr.

AIKEN, SC – Arthur Edwin Freyer Jr., age 91, entered into rest at University Hospital on Saturday, October 16, 2021.

Mr. Freyer was born February 27, 1930 in Lima, Peru. He attended Leoucio Prado Military College in Lima. He immigrated to the United States in 1951. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He retired from the US Army as a Civil Engineer. He had made Aiken, SC his home for the past sixteen years. He was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. He enjoyed reading, politics, and traveling. He had a big heart and enjoyed life.

Survivors include his wife, Anotanet Freyer; his children, Francisco, Nanette, Dominic, Michelle, and Arthur III; his grandchildren, Francesca, Ashley, and Sierra; great-grandchild, Judah; and his siblings, Gladis, Doris, Ingrid, Herbert, Percy and Aland.

The family will receive friends beginning 10:00AM on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at George Funeral Home with a funeral liturgy following at 11:00AM in The George Funeral Chapel.
