Barbara Ann Gross

Barbara Lupa Gross, 67, of Batesburg, SC went peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday evening, September 5, 2018 at her home after a strenuous battle with cancer. Barbara was born on November 3, 1950 in South Bend, Indiana. A loving wife and mother, she is survived by her husband, Paul Gross; three children, Christopher Gross, Abigail Gross, Phillip Gross and his wife Carson; four grandchildren, Phillip Jr, Seth, Elizabeth, and Judah; and her two sisters, Patricia (Lupa) Mitchell and Joyce (Lupa) Bowden of Ocala, FL.

She was a precious soul who loved to sing, cook, and create in so many ways. She never quite grasped how lovely she was and what a lasting impact her kindnesses had on so many. Her gentle and tenacious spirit will be missed.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 15th at 2pm at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, 115 North Pine Street, Batesburg-Leesville, SC. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dignata ( www.Dignata.org/give/ ) 997 Blue Slide Road, Thompson Falls, MT 59873
