Barbara E. Bachman

A memorial gathering for Barbara Ellen Bachman will be held Saturday, May 5, 2007 from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken. Memorial contributions may be directed to Aiken SPCA, 401 Wire Road, Aiken, SC, 29801.

Ms. Bachman, 63, of Aiken, died Thursday, April 26, 2007 at her residence.

Daughter of the late William Joseph Bachman and Sarah Giblin Bachman Turner, she was born in Bristol, CT. She had lived in Aiken for over thirty years. She was a homemaker, a mom, and had done factory work to help raise her family. She graduated from Silver Bluff High School in Jackson.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Carroll Richard Turner, III. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Billy Morris, Aiken, Tammie Jimmy Key, Graniteville, sons, John Helen Brooks, Torrington, CT, Jay Brooks, Aiken, step-daughters, Melissa Chris Eppig, Windsor, Donna Leeth, New Ellenton, step father, Carroll Richard Turner, Jr., sisters, Sharon Langer, Canton, CT, Gwen Turner, New Hartford, CT, brother, George Turner, Burlington, CT, eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and former husband, Gordon Brooks.
