Barbara Rose Marian Pisano

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ms. Barbara Rose Marian Pisano on August 5 2023, at the age of 82 at NHC Rehab in North Augusta, SC. She was a lifelong resident of Newburgh, New York and three years ago moved to Aiken, SC to be close to her daughters.

Ms. Pisano was born on October 8, 1940, a daughter of the late Joseph & Sarah Sommers Shayth. Ms. Pisano will be sadly missed by her children as well as many others. Her strength, compassion and love will be remembered and will remain a legacy throughout our family. Ms. Pisano loved to knit, thrived at shopping. She was lovingly referred to as the "Queen" of QVC, loved cooking and enjoyed life with her family along with a strong adoration for any and all animals.

Ms. Pisano has 5 children. Daughters: Debbie Fulmer of Aiken, SC, Barbie Pisano (Mark Ryals) of Aiken, SC, Jeanette Pisano Ebert (pre-deceased) & her husband Jerry Ebert of Montgomery, NY. Sons: Joseph Pisano (Kathy) of Newburgh, NY and Mark Pisano (Patti) of Newburgh, NY. Ms. Pisano also has 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, August 8, 2023 from 5:00pm until 6:00pm by The Historic George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803) 649-6234.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, August 10, 2023 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. at the Hudson Valley Funeral Home, 229 Quassaick Ave., New Windsor, NY, 12553 (845) 562-4411.

A graveside service will be held on Friday morning, August 11, 2023 at 11:00am in Calvary Cemetery, 304 Walsh Ave., New Windsor, NY 12553.
