Betty Anne Turkett

Betty Anne Wertz Turkett, 87, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 25th at Faith Lutheran Church with interment in Batesburg Cemetery. The Rev. Lisa Isenhower will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Turkett was born in Batesburg, SC, the daughter of the late Lavan Longfellow "L.L." and Mamie Ham Wertz. She was married to the late Julian E. Turkett. Mrs. Turkett was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her son, Mark Anthony "Tony" Turkett. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Johnathan Michael Turkett; and brothers, Andrew and Buddy Wertz.
