Betty Irean Balder

Betty Irean Balder, 87, of Leesville, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025. Born in New Philadelphia, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Elmer and Jennie Harper Hisler. She enjoyed going to the Flea Markets and birds.

Surviving are her devoted husband of 71 years, Dean Lowell Balder, Sr.; children, Dean Lowell Balder, Jr., Brenda Sue Tylke and Jeffrey Todd Balder; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant child, grandson, brothers and sisters.

The funeral service for Betty will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, June 19th, at First Calvary Baptist Church with burial immediately following in the church cemetery. The Rev. Mendle Baker and Mr. Donnie Cason will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10 A.M.
