Betty Jean Bowen

Betty Jean Bowen, 70, of Leesville, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Mrs. Bowen was born in Ridge Spring, SC, a daughter of the late Jessie and Myrtle Goff Duffie. She was married to the late Richard Bowen. After retirement, Mrs. Bowen spent her days with her beloved family as a homemaker.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Fred Odell Edgerley (Marla) and David Leland Edgerley (Rhonda); and grandchildren, Brandon, Dale and Shawn Edgerley. Also surviving are her siblings, Joe, Terry Heyward and Margie Duffie; special cousin, Cathy Goff; and many extended family members. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Jessie, Bobby, James and Roman Duffie.
