A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Betty H. Minnick will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 10am at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Richard Horne, Hank Cheves, Todd Johnson, Von Snellgrove, Tom Clark, Jeff Hudson, Dan Willis. Honorary pallbearers will be B. Henderson Johnson, I. Ben New, Donald Krafnick, Dr. William Besson, Dr. M. B. A Zotovic, Dr. S. L. Arthur. The family will receive friends Monday, May 19, 2008 from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken, with a wake service at 6:30pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association, 50 Gervais St. Columbia, SC, 29201.Mrs. Minnick, 72, of Aiken, died Friday, May 16, 2008 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Aiken.Born in Abbeville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Luther A. and Madelle Simpson Hall. She moved to Aiken in 1951 from Abbeville, SC. She was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church. She was a member of Town & Country, Aiken Chapter of the American Heart Association, and the Cotillion Club. She devoted her life to her family.She is survived by her husband of fifty years, William Minnick, sons, Michael Anne Minnick, Belva, WV; Brian Amy Minnick, Smyrna, GA; sister, Anne Horne, Mt. Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Daniel Minnick, Jonathan Minnick, Sarah Minnick, Rebecca Minnick, Miriam Minnick, Nathaniel Minnick, Andrew Minnick, Grace Minnick, Bethany Minnick, Avery Minnick, Tyler Minnick.
