Memorial services for Mrs. Bonnie W. Goshorn will be held on Monday, October 12, 2009 at 2pm at Shadow Oaks Assisted Living, Aiken. Interment will be private. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church, 125 Pendleton St, Aiken, SC, 29801 or the charity of your choice.

Mrs. Goshorn, 92, of Aiken, died Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Born in Helena, MS, she was the daughter of the late Johnny L. and Sara Jane Tanner Williams. She lived in Pascagoula, MS, Orange, TX, before moving to Aiken in 1952. She was a member of St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church, where she was a member of the Daughters of the King, and helped initiate the Garden Tour. She owned the Teen Shop and Bonne Realty. She was a member of the Wildwood Garden club and volunteered with the school band for her children.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters, four brothers, a son, and a granddaughter. She is survived by her husband of seventy four years, Lincoln Goshorn, children, Johnny L. Goshorn, Bonnie Ferland, Effie Bryson, sisters Jewell Vincent, Dorothy Hans, nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
