Memorial services for Brenda Skinner Keaton, 85, of Graniteville, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013 in the Chapel of George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Aiken. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA, 22312.

Mrs. Keaton passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at her residence. Born in Wetumpka, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Joel & Claudia McCall Brown. An area resident since 1952, Mrs. Keaton was a member of Warrenville Church of God and was retired from Owen Corning Fiberglass. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She enjoyed gardening and fishing.

Surviving are a son, W. Raybon Skinner (Cathy) of Pfafftown, NC; daughters, Darthie Boyd (Lish, Jr.) of Warrenville, Jearlean McKenzie (Lawrence) of Register, Georgia, Martha Skinner-Mixson of Edgefield, Edna Wardlaw of Graniteville and Carolyn Pless (Roger) of N. Augusta.; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
