Bryson Lee Burns

Bryson "Blitz" Lee Burns, 17, of Leesville passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 28, 2025. Bryson, brightened the world with his infectious smile and kind heart from the day he was born on Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Bryson was a young entrepreneur, the proud owner of 803 Precision Detailing, and widely recognized for his impressive work ethic and commitment to his craft. His love for his family was paramount, often going by the affectionate nickname "Bubba" to his beloved brothers. He had the biggest heart and loved his truck, finding special pride in his boat, his "big purchase." Bryson's favorite color was purple, a hue that matched his vibrant personality.

He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Jazmin and Tommy Pownall; brothers, Blaze Hutto (Madison Holley), Blaine Earnhart, Abel Pownall, and sister,

Gia Pownall. Bryson is also survived by his grandparents, Karen Kaulahokai, Melissa and Dave Dewitt, and great-grandparents Gail and Roger McKnight. He is also survived by his aunt, Tami Browder, and uncles, Brandon Dewitt and Timothy Baker, alongside a large extended family including Ronnie and Victoria Earnhart, Steve and Linda Earnhart, The Winstead Family, Sheena Owens, Kayden "KK" Kabar, Tim Browder, and Brandi and Robbie Miller. Bryson was preceded in death by his best friend, Geo Winstead.

A celebration of Bryson’s life will be held at 5 o'clock on Saturday, August 2nd at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with Mrs. Beverly Taylor officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather and share their loving memories from 3 until 5 o'clock prior to the service. The family kindly request that you wear your B-L apparel in honor of Bryson's favorite color.

Bryson's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will eternally resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.
