Becky Martin Newell, 61, of Leesville, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025. Becky was born in Prosperity, SC, a daughter of Carolyn Louise Frick Taylor and the late Donald Rawl Martin. She was a a member of Crossroads Baptist Church of Gilbert.
Surviving are her mother and step-father, Carolyn Louise Frick Taylor (James Edward) of Gilbert; sister, Rhonda Martin Craven of Gilbert; along with her former husband, Barry Newell of Gilbert; nephew, Matthew Donald Foster (Hanna) of Charlotte, NC; great niece, Lilly; and step-sister, Amanda Taylor (Rob) and step-niece, Makayla. Becky is also remembered by her neighbors and friends, Judy and Larry Miller; and Erin, Buddy, Kynslee and Abby Davis
The memorial service to celebrate Becky will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, August 16th at St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery.
