Catherine Sanborn Thomas

Catherine S. Thomas, of Aiken, SC, passed from this life on December 28, 2007.

She was born April 3, 1924, in Springfield, New Hampshire. to Ernest E. and Anna D. Sanborn. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Andrew Thomas, two brothers, Ernest E. Sanborn and Charles B. Sanborn, and a sister, Barbara Sanborn.

Survivors include her daughters, Andrea T. Charles Kuhn of Riverside, California, and Patricia T. James of Aiken, SC, a son, Christopher Thomas of Indianapolis, Indiana, three grandchildren, Trevor Thomas of Indianapolis, Indiana, Elizabeth Johnny Martinez and Charles C. Lisa Kuhn, Jr. of Riverside, California, and two great-grandchildren, Grace Martinez and Emma Kuhn of Riverside, California.

She is also survived by her brothers, Robert C. Nancy Sanborn of Enfield, New Hampshire, and Darrell G. Sanborn of Claremont, New Hampshire, her sister, Freydis William Grant of Highland, California, and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a private service with burial later in Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C. where her husband, parents and brother, Charles, are buried.
