Cathy Hall Rodgers

Cathy Hall Rodgers, 62, of Batesburg, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Mrs. Rodgers was born in Aiken, SC, a daughter of the late Colon and Vaughnta Hall. She was a member of Old Samaria Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Surviving are her daughters, Christy Rodgers Kennedy (Tom Pool), and Lacey Jane Rodgers; grandchildren, Emily Shirley (Blake), Mikalea Kennedy, Jay Williams (Jennifer McGee); great-grandchildren, Brynlee Williams, Hensleigh Williams, and Hudson Shirley. Also surviving is a sister, Vernita Cockrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Tommy W. Rodgers; brothers, Allen and Cecil O'Neal Hall; and sisters, Retha Hall, Susan McCullough and Vernelle Rankin.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. on Monday, September 25th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home and other times at the home of Jay Williams, 836 Haven Road, Batesburg, SC 29006. The memorial service for Mrs. Rodgers will be private.
