Cecile R. Schwalb

Mrs. Cecile Ross Schwalb, 67, of Aiken, SC, entered into the realm of angels Wed. night, Feb. 24, surrounded by immediate family, after a courageous battle with cancer. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am, Wed., March 3, 2010 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, reception to follow at the Reserve Club in Woodside Plantation.

A beloved wife of 45 years, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Cecile shared her grace, smiles and laughter, her warmth and kindness with all who crossed her path. Her life exemplified a selfless focus on others throughout her human resources career, volunteerism and Cecile's many lasting personal relationships.

The spirit of this LSU lady has touched lives: from New Orleans where she was raised and married Jake Schwalb, to Cape Canaveral, FL.; Endicott, NY and Manassas, VA, to Destrehan, LA; Cary, NC; Orlando, FL.; Pinehurst, NC; and Aiken, SC.
